"Moskabelmet introduces aluminium solutions to designers and engineers

GK Moskabelmet implements a programme designed to expand the knowledge of experts from various industries in the field of aluminium alloys and cable products with their application.The thematic event for representatives of one of the leading and oldest engineering companies in the Russian oil and gas industry was organised at Moskabel Zavod Moskabel (part of Moskabelmet Group of Companies).

Tanchulpan Mukhtarova, Director of PR-service of Moskabelmet Group of Companies, and Elena Asanova, Director for Coordination and Market Interaction of the Aluminium Association, addressed the participants of the meeting.The experts informed the participants of the event about the current situation on the market of cable and wiring products, implemented projects, as well as the ongoing work to promote aluminium solutions in the energy sector.Then representatives of Moskabel Plant made presentations: Sergey Kislyuk, Development Director, told about aluminium alloys of 8xxx series, Ruslan Melekhov, Technology Development Director, told about the company's products and technical aspects of aluminium alloy cables production.

After the business part of the event the specialists of the invited engineering company visited the workshops of "Moskabel Plant", where they got acquainted with the production of cable-conductor products, including the use of aluminium alloys of 8xxx series.

It is worth noting that Moskabelmet pays great attention to the application of aluminium and aluminium alloy 8xxx series in oil and gas and other industries.For example, Pavel Moryakov, General Director of Moskabelmet, spokeat a meeting in the State Duma about how the use of aluminium and aluminium alloy of the 8xxx series helps reduce the cost of fuel and energy projects.He also talked about innovative cable applications with this alloy in a recentthematic session at Cabex-2023.

The company's plans for the coming year include continuing work in this direction and holding new events for design institutes, engineering companies and other organisations interested in the application of cables with innovative aluminium alloy.
