Moskabelmet congratulates on the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War

This holiday is a national holiday, uniting, sad and joyful, filled with the brightest feelings."Moskabelmet", as well as the whole country, celebrates it, expressing gratitude and respect for the great feat of our ancestors.Of course, the memory of every hero is important, including those whose names remain unknown.But especially the enterprise honours the heroes of Moskabelmet: their names are carved on the commemorative Obelisk in the centre of the plant square, placed on the memorial plaque on the enterprise building and online - in the gallery of portraits and stories"Immortal Regiment".

Employees of "Moskabel Plant" directly from their workplaces went to the front, many fought in partisan detachments - more than 1000 people took part in military actions, and not all of them returned home.....Those who remained standing at the machine, mostly women, also showed great courage and willpower.Their contribution to the Victory is very significant: in 1942 the company was the only supplier of cable products in the country!The factory produced badly needed wires for aviation, tapes for shells, and floating cables.Through the efforts of people who worked tirelessly, the enterprise produced up to 500 kilometres of military field wires per day!

Theexposition in the park tells about these difficult and important pages of the history of Moskabelmet.In honour of its opening, a traditional meeting was held with a performance by a military-patriotic song group and an army field kitchen.An important part of the event was the laying of flowers at the Obelisk erected in memory of 53 volunteers who spared no life in the fight against the enemy. On 5 May, another action timed to coincide with the holiday was held on the Group's territory: employees and tenants of Moskabelmet were given St. George ribbons - a symbol of heroism and bravery, a sign of memory that is passed on from generation to generation.
