Moskabelmet received well-deserved awards for promoting aluminium

At the annual meeting of the members of the Aluminium Association, Moskabelmet received awards for its contribution to the development of the production of aluminium alloy cable products of the 8xxx series and its promotion.

Yesterday, April 19, the annual meeting of the Association "Association of Aluminium Producers, Suppliers and Consumers" was held in the building of the World Trade Centre in Moscow.The participants summed up the results of 2022 and outlined plans for 2023, made decisions on a number of important organisational issues, including approval of the Association's Charter in a new version, election of the President of the Association and members of the Management Board.

The meeting also included a strategic session entitled "Dialogue within the industry on the directions of development of aluminium processing in Russia". The session discussed:

• the market situation as seen by the participants;
• expectations for the next 1-2 years;
• promising areas for the development of aluminium products;
• development plans, investments in new production facilities;
• support of producers by the Aluminium Association and the state.

Pavel Moryakov, as a board member of the Aluminium Association and head of the Energy sector, attended the Association's meeting and acted as a speaker for the session.It was also attended by executives from RUSAL, Neva Metalware, KUMZ, Aluminium Metallurg Rus, Arnest Packaging Solutions, RM Rail and RPO Albes.

As part of the meeting, the CEO of Moskabelmet was awarded in the nomination "Energy of Aluminium".From the hands of Irina Kazovskaya, Co-Chairman of the Aluminium Association, and Elena Asanova, the Association's Director for Market Coordination and Interaction, he received a certificate of merit "For significant contribution to the development of production of aluminium alloy cable products of 8xxx series and active promotion in the Russian and CIS markets".

Tanchulpan Mukhtarova, Director of PR-service, was also awarded an honorary diploma. PR-service of "Moskabelmet", which she manages, carries out active work on promotion of products with aluminium alloys:

1. the Company participates in events at third-party venues: photo exhibitions, conferences, seminars, round tables;

2. the PR service organises its own events dedicated to aluminium at Moskabelmet: excursions, business meetings andsessions;

3. last year, a lot of work was done to open anexhibition in the Moskabelmet square, timed to coincide with Cable Industry Worker's Day and the 90th anniversary of Russia's aluminium industry;

4. Tanchulpan Mukhtarova - Head of the working group on creation of thecatalogue of cable products under the auspices of the Aluminium Association.
