The futurist dream of a high-speed, spacious hydrofoil catamaran has become true with advanced domestic technologies and the latest aluminium alloy 1581. The new Made in Russia episode on RBC Channel features the construction of Russia’s first passenger hydrofoil catamarans at the Irkutsk shipyard.

The film also captures the sleek aluminium hulls of the Meteors, the latest hydrofoil vessels built in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The RBC Channel crew documented the production of the electric Sotalia and Iniya pleasure boats at the shipyard in Kaliningrad, the westernmost part of the country. The first of these is already operating between the local Kremlin and Strelka in Nizhny Novgorod.
Viewers will enjoy the captivating views of the vast water expanses of the Angara, Lake Baikal, the Volga and the Kaliningrad Bay, where the latest aluminium vessels are operating.
The new episode about aluminium shipbuilding will be broadcast on RBC TV channel tomorrow Tuesday, July 25 at 09:20 (GMT +3), and repeated at 15:45. Repeat broadcasts will also be aired on July 26 at 12:45 and on July 29 at 09:50. We hope you enjoy it!
