SKAD is a high-tech manufacturer of aluminium alloy wheel rims for passenger cars since 2004. The company currently manufactures more than one million units per year. The company’s success is due to its commitment to quality with respect to technology, treatment of employees, the environment and safety.

The SKAD product line includes rims ranging in diameter from 13 to 20 inches, in over 100 designs, 13 colours and around 3,000 sizes.

LMZ SKAD is undertaking a project aimed at localisation of production of aluminium alloy wheels in Russia for Ford Sollers, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Citroen, Mitsubishi, Toyota and KIA.

The company is certified in accordance with ISO international standards. SKAD rims were independently inspected by TUV SUD Automotive GMBH, and approved for commission in Western Europe and the US. The wheel rims cope excellently with Russian conditions.

In 2008, SKAD was awarded Q1 status as Priority Supplier by Ford Motor Company. In 2014, the SKAD production facilities began to deliver aluminium alloy rims for Ford assembly lines in Germany and Spain. In 2015, LMZ SKAD and Ford of Europe signed a contract to increase the amount of rim deliveries in 2016. The project is in the final stages of manufacturing wheel rims for Volkswagen, Peugeot - Citroen, Mitsubishi and Toyota.

In 2009, 2010, and 2014 SKAD was awarded first place in the inter-regional competition for ‘Best Goods and Services of Eurasia – GEMMA’.

In September 2016, the SKAD production facilities, supported by the Aluminium Association, entered into an agreement with Roseximbank to attract post-export finance for development of aluminium alloy wheel rims in EU countries
