The management company was established in 2005 to represent the interests of the leading production facilities of the holding: Klyuchevsky Ferroalloy Plant, Russian chromium 1915 and Klyuchesky Enrichment Plant. Today the management company of RosSpetsSplav-MidUral Group is the administrative centre of the MidUral Group of companies.

The production facility is the only production facility in Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union producing the range (more than 30 names) of unique ferroalloys and ligatures obtained by metal recovery from their oxygen and other compounds. This includes aluminothermal metallic chrome, ferrochrome carbon and non-carbon, ferroniobium, ferrotitanium, ferrotungsten, silicocalcium, silicocalciumwith active additives (vanadium, zirconium, titanium, aluminium), silicovanadium, zirconium ferrosilicon modifier magnesium-containing, master alloys with rare-earth metals, master alloys on the basis of niobium and nickel, slag products, etc.

The production of the production facility is used in metallurgy for alloying, deoxidation and degasification of steels and alloys, in the production of welding materials and electrodes, in the production of stainless, heat-resistant steels, as well as for the modification of cast iron.

In terms of applied technologies and the basic range of products for metallurgy the production facility remains unique and the only production facility in ferroalloy subsector of Russia and the CIS countries. KZF is the authorised supplier of chromium and ferroalloys for Russia's strategic reserve (Rosreserv).
