EM-KAT specialises in the production of aluminium-zirconium rods, aluminium AKLP cables, as well as cables from KAS and SvAK5 alloys. In 2015, EM-KAT had a production output of 11,000 tonnes.

The company produces cables using a method of continuous casting and simultaneous rolling based on a complex automated line from Italian company Continuus-Properzi S.P.A.

The wire rod made from heat-resistant aluminium alloy AzrK is designed for production of heat-resistant wires that are used in high conductor temperatures up to 150°С, and applied in high-voltage electricity lines. These wires can be used in both construction of new lines in the network with seasonal and peak workloads, as well as in the reconstruction of old, the throughput of which ensures growing consumer demand.

Aluminium wire rod of AKLP-PT, T1, T2 brands are specified for manufacture wires and other electrotechnical products.

The wire rod made from KAS aluminium alloy is used in the production of self-supporting isolated wires (SIP-2 and SIP-3) and optical ground wires. The aluminium wire rod made from SvAK5 aluminium alloy is applied in the manufacturing of welding wires. It is designed for aircraft aluminium, as well as repairing elements of low alloy silumin.

The company’s products are sold in Russia, CIS countries and further abroad.
