AKRON HOLDING began operations in 2001, and in the 18 years of successful business the company has gone from a minor scrap procurement outfit to Russia's largest independent vertically integrated metal production company. Today, we are a leader in terms of ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap procurement in Russia and other CIS countries, the 9 production facilities and 108 production and storage facilities operated by our Holding are continuously procuring and processing ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap, disposing of various types of vehicles and structures, as well as making and selling rolled metal products. Over the past two years, the Holding has significantly expanded its business interests, having acquired and built 9 metal production facilities all over the country, which use primarily ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap as their main raw material.
The Holding is actively investing in the development of its own production capacity, expanding and modernising its production equipment. Since the Holding has got its own scrap procurement infrastructure, it can be very flexible when it comes to product prices and product delivery times, which gives it an advantage over most of its competition.
One way to judge the scale of the business is by considering its geographical reach: 22 regions in Russia and other CIS countries, plus the Holding employs over 7,581 people. Every year, the Holding expands its geographic reach, goes into new businesses and introduces new products.

Aluminium products manufacturing facility in the town of Mashkovo, Moscow Region. The facility was acquired by the AKRON HOLDING in September 2018. The aluminium production company's main activity is processing non-ferrous metal scrap. The high-tech equipment of the production company allows it to make aluminium ingots in a variety of shapes, wire rod for the oxidation of steel and electrical aluminium wire rod. Alfa Group products are purchased by major Russian companies specialising in the manufacture of transport systems and aluminium radiators.
The Alfa Group is capable of producing 24,000 tonnes of wire rod per year and up to 17,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots per year.

- aluminium alloys made to GOST 295-98, GOST 1583-93, DIN and customer specifications;

In 2019, the AKRON HOLDING leased the production capacity of UC RUSAL RESAL in the town of Alekseevka, Samara Region. The company specialises in the procurement and processing of recycled aluminium, production of alloys and ingots. The production facility is equipped with three melting furnaces, and makes up to 25,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots per year.
Modern smelting equipment, skilled labour and an in-house continuous QA laboratory allow the company to make high quality branded aluminium.
There is consistently high demand for aluminium ingots produced by the Alekseevskaya Aluminium Company. Up to 90% of the products made by the Alekseevskaya Aluminium Company are exported to South East Asia and Asia Pacific.

Energotechmash is a company based in Zhigulevsk, which grew out of a production facility launched there in 1953. Today, the company is a leading manufacturer of aluminium extrusions in Russia, and the main supplier of components for the automotive industry, the construction sector and the power industry.
Energotechmash makes up to 25,000 tonnes of aluminium extrusions per year. The company operates advanced presses manufactured by Italy's Cometal S.p.A. with a press power rating of 1,100 tonnes, 1,320 tonnes and 3,300 tonnes, an Aluminium Trevisan polymer painting system with a capacity of 850 square metres per year, an anodising line and an in-house tool manufacturing shop.
