With over 20 years of experience in the aluminum industry, Olga specializes in the application of aluminum in construction, spanning the entire cycle from product development to market launch. Since 2015, she has served as the Head of the Construction Aluminum Consumption Development Project Group at RUSAL TH.
Olga began her career as a design engineer at the KAMAZ Technology Center. She later progressed to Head of Sales and Marketing at KAMAZ construction industry. Her journey in the aluminum industry started in 2004 at TATPROF (Naberezhnye Chelny, Republic of Tatarstan), the largest aluminum profile manufacturer in the Russian Federation. There, she rose from Head of Marketing to Sales Director and eventually Commercial Director. Joining RUSAL in 2016, she focused on expanding the production and consumption markets for aluminum profiles across all sectors of the national economy. She has made a particularly significant contribution to the construction sector, specifically the use of aluminum in building facades and translucent structures that define modern urban architecture. Over the past five years, her work has been centered on import substitution programs and the localization of aluminum construction products previously not manufactured in the Russian Federation.
Starting in 2025, as Director of Construction Market Development Projects, she oversees initiatives to increase aluminum usage in the construction industry. As an expert in the semi-finished aluminum products market, she possesses extensive practical experience in creating and promoting new product lines for construction and the national economy.
“Aluminum offers numerous advantages over other metallic and non-metallic materials. Aluminum structures are characterized by low specific weight, high structural strength, corrosion resistance, and durability. In a resource-based economy, low maintenance costs are a key benefit, significantly impacting total lifecycle costs. Beyond its versatility, aluminum possesses a vital advantage for the circular economy: the capacity for virtually infinite recycling. Current priorities include raising market awareness and promoting aluminum-based building materials, as well as refining regulatory frameworks and technical standards to expand the use of aluminum materials and structures as the most progressive and high-tech solutions.”
