An experienced executive in the metallurgical industry. He previously served as Head of Sales for Russia and the CIS and CEO of JSC "RUSAL TH".
Igor Ignashov brings extensive leadership experience from Russia's largest metallurgical holdings. From 1997 to 2020, he built his career at Severstal, rising to Sales Director at JSC "Severstal Management".
The Aluminum Association’s ambitious goal is to double domestic aluminum consumption by 2035. Collaboration among all industry stakeholders will also facilitate the development of new technologies and high-value-added products within Russia.
