The Aluminium Association is pleased to announce the start of a public consultation on draft Amendment 1 to Code SP 128.13330.2016 ‘Aluminium structures’. This code establishes the rules for designing aluminium building structures.

It is worth recalling that SP 128.13330.2016 ‘SNiP 2.03.06-85* Aluminium structures’ was approved by Order of the Russian Ministry of Construction No 948/pr of December 16, 2016, and it is valid from June 17, 2017. The prerequisites for updating the requirements of the Code were the results of additional research of the strength of alloys and their welded joints, the appearance of new alloys in the market, as well as comments and suggestions sent by the users of the document to the Association.

The draft document is available at the website of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart): Activities > Standardisation > Notifications > Code Notifications.

The deadline for consideration is until November 27, 2022.
