On the first day of the ‘Russian Standardisation Week’ International Technology Forum, dedicated to the World Standards Day, the results of the All-Russian Public Award ‘Standardiser of the Year — 2022’ were announced.

The Standardiser of the Year contest is organised by the All-Russian Quality Organisation (VOK) and FBSI RST with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Rosstandart. In 2022, 291 applicants from 114 industrial companies, research institutes, design offices, technical committees and other organisations in Russia took part in the Contest.

The Standardisation Service of the Aluminium Association took part in the Contest and, as one of the top three, was awarded a diploma in the category ‘For practical contribution to the establishment and operation of a standardisation service in companies (in organisations)’. The team was also awarded an honorary diploma of the All-Russian Quality Organisation (VOK) ‘For contribution to the development of national standardisation and quality’.

The jury recognised the fundamental work of the Aluminium Association’s Standardisation Service in bringing together professionals in the aluminium industry to develop new cutting-edge standardisation documents and update the existing ones.
