The UNCOMTECH company (a member of the Aluminium Association) presented universal self-supporting power cables with their own brand of aluminium wire conductors at the Electricity Networks 2022 International Forum. The use of these cables makes it possible to build 6–35 kV transmission lines where classical technical solutions are not applicable.

At a conference organised by the Electricity Insulation Association, the company spoke about its universal reusable power cable. It can be used as a backup cable for emergency power service lines, for bypass cable jumpers during reconstruction of a power line section, for temporary power supply to construction sites or major public events. The uniqueness of the offer lies in the fact that it is possible to lay the cable over great height differences: in the air, in the rock, in the ground, without the danger of installation without insulators and lightning protection.

Conference participants noted the ease of use of the product: the cable can be used directly from the reel, and can be routed through trees instead of temporary supports. The cable can be supplied with pre-installed sleeves to simplify installation.
