Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant (KUMZ) has started targeted mailing the second issue of the research and production magazine Sphere of AL Deep Processing.

The publication, the name of which translates from Greek as "ball", is addressed to the professional community, focusing on new technologies and products, current market and research and production topics. The next issue of the magazine tells about the possibilities of aluminium processing: the production of stamped rims for the automotive industry and light-alloy drill pipes for the oil and gas industry. Along with general information about the projects, readers will get information about the types of alloys, comparative characteristics and dimensions of certain types of products.

The magazine will become an additional platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas within the professional community, it is open for the publication of expert opinions of market participants. The publication will cover a variety of topics including metal fabrication and processing, solutions for aerospace, automotive, construction and other industries. The Sphere will look at import substitution initiatives, including incentivising investment in research and development of finished products and the development of local supply chains.
