KENGURU.PRO, a manufacturer of outdoor sports equipment and a member of the Aluminium Association, released about 2 million units of products in 2024. This is an increase of almost a third over the previous year. New innovative equipment made from anodised aluminium accounts for a substantial portion of the volume. Its mass manufacturing was launched at the beginning of the year. Today, aluminium products account for 30% of the total number of sports grounds produced and shipped, and 56% of the company's total revenue.

The creation of sports infrastructure is a new area of aluminium application in the urban environment. Aluminium sports grounds may be sought after in regions with challenging climates, including cities like Yakutsk, Barnaul, Magadan, Vladivostok, and regions such as the Northern Urals, Primorye and Sakhalin. Anodised complexes offer high performance and durability, providing a quality guarantee of at least 50 years, which results in a full return on investment.

'Launching an aluminium product range was a carefully considered decision for us. Such equipment has certain undeniable advantages. First of all, it is eco-friendly, as the anodised aluminium production results in low hydrocarbon emissions, and this material is fully recyclable. Its advantages also include durability, cost-effectiveness and safety, especially for children,' emphasises Dmitry Zaichenko, CEO of 'KENGURU.PRO'. 'Aluminium sports grounds integrated into the areas surrounding residential buildings undoubtedly improve the look of courtyards and create a stylish design focal point. This also applies to parks and any other location. The growing demand for aluminium sports grounds allowed us to increase their share in our portfolio to 30%. In 5 years, we expect that 20% of all street and street sports grounds in Moscow will be made of aluminium', he added.

Over the past year, the company has developed and released several new product ranges. Among them are Spider complexes, a number of workout setups, aluminium tennis tables of a new concept, swings, complexes for panna football and children's equipment.

'Aluminium as a material is increasingly used in the construction of various objects. The construction of residential and social facilities, tourist, urban and park infrastructure, as well as of hardscaping elements using innovative aluminium solutions forms a better quality, environmentally friendly, accessible and comfortable urban environment, including within the framework of the new national project 'Infrastructure for Life,' says Irina Kazovskaya, Chair of the Aluminium Association.
