The Ministry for Industry, Power and Mining of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay certified the energy efficiency programme of Dirox SA (a part of the MidUral Group) and rated its results highly. According to the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP), the energy effect has been converted into conventional units: accumulated oil tonne equivalents.

Dirox's three certified projects enabled energy savings equivalent to 167,228 tonnes of oil. These projects include Usage of Biomass for Steam Generation, Dryer Fan Speed Reduction, and Lamp Replacement with LED Technology. According to the legislation of this Latin America country, the achieved effect was estimated to be equivalent to UYU 3,618,268 (approximately RUB 7.4 mln). The Government of Uruguay will return these funds to the company as remuneration for sustainable treatment of power resources and environmental concern.
