On September 28–30, 2022, the Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Centre (Moscow) will host the 5th International Exhibition Build School 2022. This year's Build School will take place as part of a series of anniversary events marking the 90th anniversary of the Union of Architects of Russia. The exhibition will showcase new generation architectural designs for school and pre-school buildings, featuring a modern approach to the design, construction, renovation, upgrade and operation of school and pre-school facilities.
The Aluminium Association's stand will showcase a pilot project for the construction of a '120+70 children Kindergarten' utilising a new block-modular technology for school and pre-school establishments. The modular design complies with all modern safety and operating requirements. It is based on domestic innovations involving aluminium alloys: power frame and modular facades, internal partition walls and school furniture.
The use of aluminium-based materials guarantees a no less than 50-year durability for the construction. The high factory prefabrication rate of the modules with integrated utilities allows for the construction and commissioning of the facility in a short term, which is particularly relevant for the Russian hard-to-access and northern regions. Such aluminium-based modular block technology for school and pre-school facilities will be presented to the professional community for the first time at Build School 2022.
As part of the forum's business programme, experts from the Aluminium Association will discuss innovative and effective solutions for the design and construction of educational facilities of different sizes. Thus, Olga Ogorodnikova, Head of the Construction sector of the Aluminium Association, will make a presentation on 'New Approaches to the Construction of School and Pre-School Facilities Based on Block-Modular Technology'. The expert will present the project's feasibility study, describe the anticipated implementation timeframe, as well as the properties of the materials and structures to be used.
We look forward to seeing you at the Aluminium Association's stand and business programme events!
