On October 18–21, 2021, Pavilion No 1 of the Central Exhibition Complex EXPOCENTRE will hold Technoforum-2021, an international specialised exhibition of equipment and technologies for structural materials processing. The Aluminium Association is a partner of the exhibition. The Technoforum has got the signs of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF). The event will be held as part of the second Russian Industrial Week.
The Russian Industrial Week is a large-scale industrial event, which unites significant elements of the Russian economy: mechanical engineering and metal working, welding production and the welding equipment market, nondestructive testing and technical diagnostics, technologies and services for advertisement. In 2021, the Week will include the following exhibitions: Technology Forum, Rusweld, NDT Territory, and Advertisement. In 2020, this event attracted more than 250 participant companies from 17 countries on an area of 20,000 sq. m, over 7,500 visitors of the exhibition, and 31 activities of the business programme.
The Technoforum is a reputable event for all market participants that are interested in the industrial development and creation of new areas in various sectors of mechanical engineering, machine tool construction, and structural material processing. The exhibition was supported by the State Duma of the Russian Federation and was included in the Science-Technologies-Innovations Expo (STI Expo) project. The purpose of this project is to contribute to implementing national programmes in the science and technology transformation, education, digital economy, industry, transport infrastructure, and energy.
The topics of the exhibition reflect all production processes that cover the cycle, from research to pilot and serial production of finished products. In 2021, the hot topic 'Additive Technologies and 3D Solutions' will be presented as a separate exhibition, and the 4-day '3D Industry' conference will be held in partnership with WebConf. The business event will have a hybrid format, each day will be dedicated to a specific topic and audience: AT users, technologies, engineering and science.
By a decree of the President of the Russian Federation, 2021 was declared the Year of Science and Technology, which is especially symbolic not only for the scientific community, but also for everyone involved in promoting science and its achievements in various fields. The topics of the Technoforum are inextricably connected with demonstrating and promoting the latest scientific and technical developments, innovative technologies, and advanced ideas. The 'Science and Specialised Education' section with leading industrial universities of the country will be widely represented in the designated area.
The exhibition will also have the Personnel Recruitment Centre, allowing young professionals to find work, and companies to recruit skilled personnel. The business programme of the Russian Industrial Week will open with a plenary session on hot topics. The organiser is JSC EXPOCENTRE with the support of the State Duma's Expert Council for Scientific & Technological Development and Intellectual Property. The operator is LLC Prioritet. Traditionally, the Technoforum event programme will tell about topical issues of the composite industry in partnership with the Union of Composite Producers, and a lot of attention will be paid to professional competitions: Technoleader-2021 contest, which unites all groups of producers and consumers from both the large industrial sector and the private sector, a PR-battle of industrial companies.
