The Aluminium Association invites you to take part in an open meeting of the Energy Sector on the topic 'Operation under the Sanctions and Growth Prospects'. In the first part of the meeting, we propose to raise the question of how to sell cable and wire products with aluminium efficiently.
Due to the growing key rate and US dollar exchange rate, the price of copper at the London Metal Exchange (LME) is continuously increasing, which directly affects the production of cable products and their cost. As part of the sector meeting, we will discuss the issue of replacing copper cables with cables based on innovative 8xxx series aluminium alloy. The transition from copper to 8xxx series aluminium will reduce the cost of projects, as well as protect the projects budget at a longer stage of time.
The second part of the sector meeting will be devoted to aluminium conductors of flexibility class 5. The transition to aluminium conductors of flexibility class 5 will significantly save budgets to implement projects. We will speak about upgrading production lines at facilities to produce class 5 aluminium conductors. It is necessary to carry out experimental work based on production facilities being part of the sector.
Participants of the meeting must register on the website of the Aluminium Association.
