To celebrate the Cable Worker Day, Moskabelmet opened a themed exhibition. Together with the Aluminium Association, the company organised an exhibition on the use of aluminium in cable production.
Moskabelmet celebrates Cable Worker Day in a special atmosphere: among partners, colleagues and friends. A grand opening of the thematic exhibition took place at the site, marking this year’s 90th anniversary of the aluminium industry in Russia. The ‘Aluminium in the cable industry: from reduction process to finished cables’ exposition is displayed in a beautiful square, surrounded by wrought iron lanterns and benches, next to the famous Eiffel Tower.
It included photos showing the production of an advanced cable with aluminium and aluminium alloy cores. All stages are shown, from the production of aluminium by electrolysis, and the production of alloy and aluminium wire rod to the production of the final products in the cable factory.
Among the guests of the photo exhibition opening ceremony were representatives of the State Duma, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Southern Administrative District Prefecture, Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Moscow Trade Union Federation, Electrocable Association, VNIIKP and RusKabel Media Holding, which is the media partner of the event. The company’s veterans and honoured employees were also invited to the event. Pavel Moryakov, CEO of Moskabelmet Group and Head of the Energy Sector of the Aluminium Association, spoke at the opening of the exhibition. He told the visitors about the milestones in the development of the aluminium industry associated with the history of the production facility.
The place where the exhibition is set up was chosen for special reasons. Moskabelmet is the first domestic cable company with its history dating back to 1895. Moskabelmet is now one of the leaders in the domestic cable industry and supplies products to facilities that are strategically important to Russia. These include nuclear power plants, the Moscow Metro, airports, residential developments, hospitals and sports facilities. The exhibition, jointly organised by Moskabelmet Group and the Aluminium Association, will be open to the public until late November. During the exhibition, the organisers will offer two guided tours for everyone: on November 3 and November 17. To take part in the tours, the visitors should sign up using the relevant section.
Moskabelmet congratulates all employees of the cable industry on their day, expresses gratitude for their dedication to their profession and conscientious work and wishes them success, prosperity, professional growth and good health!
