Moscow, September 13. Leading manufacturers of aluminum cookware – members of the Aluminium Association – took part in HouseHold Expo 2019, the 24th international industrial exhibition of non-food products, held on September 10–12 in the Crocus Expo IEC. The event was attended by more than 15 thousand representatives of international, federal and regional retailers, which were able to verify the high quality of domestic aluminium cookware.
Russian companies in the domestic market are strengthening their positions, including by expanding product ranges for all types of stoves and improving quality. Today, the share of Russian manufacturers in the domestic market with amount of 32 thousand tonnes is about 60% with a growth rate of about 3% annually. By 2025, the market of aluminium cookware is expected to reach 36 thousand tonnes.
The exhibition was attended by the companies, such as Aluminium Metallurg Rus (TM Kalitva), Kukmor Metal Ware Plant (TM Kukmara), Landskrona (TM VARI), Neva Metal Ware (TM NMP), TD SKOVO (TM SCOVO), etc. They demonstrated their capabilities to manufacture cast and stamped aluminium cookware with high-quality coating for all types of stoves, including up-to-date induction cooktops.
'Large retail chains are gradually reducing imports, giving preference to domestic products. Today, Russian companies produce cookware fully comparable in quality with international analogues and have the potential to increase production. This explains the high interest in aluminium cookware at HouseHold Expo,' said Natalya Kudenkova, the head of the 'Consumer Goods' sector of the Aluminium Association.
