The Aluminium Association participates in the National Industrial Forum (NIF) that opened today. The participants of the Forum, which will prepare proposals of the business community on pursuing the industrial policy in Russia, include Moskabel. The intensive programme of NIF comprises meetings in the following areas: system-wide measures to support projects of industrial companies, import substitution, development of exportation of high-tech products, extra-budgetary financing of projects of industrial companies, industry and national development goals.
At the meeting of the Import Substitution group, Pavel Moryakov, Head of the Aluminium Association's Energy Sector, CEO of Moskabelmet Group, made a number of proposals relating to digitalisation of production facilities. To improve the efficiency of production facilities, Pavel Moryakov considers it necessary to develop basic digitalisation models for two digital blocks – for design bureau and production. The models are to be unified and deployed throughout the industry under a governmental programme. According to the expert, this will allow improving the efficiency of production facilities at least 5 times.

The National Industrial Forum has been held since 2018. The goal of the Forum is to prepare proposals on pursuing the industrial policy in Russia, develop initiatives of industrial companies intended to achieve the national development goals of the country through 2024 and for the planned period through 2030. The mission of the Forum is to develop a dialogue with authorities of the federal and regional levels, create an up-to-date industrial agenda subject to the governmental priorities and demands of the business.
