The Association of Producers, Suppliers and Consumers of Aluminium (the Aluminium Association) and the Russian exhibition company EXPOCENTRE have signed an agreement of cooperation in organising and participating in major industry exhibitions. These events include Oil and Gas, Prodexpo, RosBuild, Rusweld, Furniture, RENWEX and others, which are being organised by EXPOCENTRE. The agreement seeks to consolidate efforts to organise and hold various events, such as exhibitions, conferences, seminars, symposiums, salons etc aimed at promoting the production and use of modern technologies and aluminium-based materials in high-tech industries.

The Aluminium Association and many of its 127 member companies serve today as centres of competencies in a broad range of aluminium processing fields; they showcase their products and technologies at various exhibitions in Russia and abroad, regularly initiating events for the professional community. Thus, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Union of Architects of Russia and the Union of Moscow Architects, the Aluminium Association established the Aluminium in Architecture and Construction forum (AlumForum) — a unique large-scale event designed to showcase the cutting-edge uses of aluminium solutions in architecture and construction, and to serve as a venue for the professional dialogue between industry representatives, leading architects and designers. It was two years ago at the AlumForum 2019 that the cooperation between EXPOCENTRE and the Aluminium Association began. At the time, the EXPOCENTRE exhibition centre hosted the first international forum Aluminium in Architecture and Construction as part of the RosBuild exhibition.

The signing of this agreement takes the partnership between the Aluminium Association and EXPOCENTRE, a leading organiser of major international industry exhibitions in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe, to a whole new level.

ALUMINIUM ASSOCIATION
The Association of Producers, Suppliers and Consumers of Aluminium (the Aluminium Association) was established in 2015 with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and UC RUSAL. The Aluminium Association comprises member companies that produce aluminium and/or make aluminium products. The Association is made up of 8 sectors: Construction, Machine Engineering, Aerospace, Consumer Goods, Energy, Automotive, Aluminium Chemistry, Recycling. The activities of the Association are aimed at creating optimal conditions for the development of the aluminium industry and related branches. The Association supervises more than 30 large-scale projects aimed at expanding the consumption of aluminium in Russia, increasing the share of domestic aluminium products on the domestic market and increasing the export potential of Russian aluminium companies.
