Moscow, April 27. New aluminium products are included in the list of high-technology products, prepared with account of the priority areas of retrofitting of the Russian economy. The updated list is established by the corresponding order of the Minpromtorg of Russia. This was implemented at the suggestion of the Aluminum Association as a part of the implementation of the "Action Plan to Stimulate Demand for High Aluminum Products for 2016-2017", approved by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
The addition of aluminium products to the list of high-technology products allows their producers to count on a number of benefits. The rules for granting subsidies from the federal budget in the form of a property contribution of the Russian Federation to the state corporation "Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)" make it possible to recover part of the costs associated with supporting the production of high-technology products. Also, in order to compensate for lost revenues on loans issued in support of high-technology production, there are rules for granting subsidies from the federal budget to the State Specialized Russian Export-Import Bank.
The list of high-technology products also includes aluminium powders and flakes; aluminium rods and extrusions; aluminium steel structures; tanks, casks, barrels, drums, cans and similar aluminium containers for any substances; twisted wire, cables, braided cords and similar aluminium products; tableware, kitchenware or other household products and their parts made of aluminium, including dishes.
