Belaya Kalitva, May 19. It is necessary to strengthen the links between producers and consumers of aluminium products in Russia. The search for solutions to this problem has become one of the main topics of the meeting of the Aluminum Association held in Belaya Kalitva (Rostov region).
The meeting was attended by representatives of the administration of the Rostov region, the heads of the Belokalitva district, the Association "Greenhouses of Russia", the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry of Russia (AMDPR), the Association of LED and LED-based systems manufacturers, as well as the leading enterprises of the aluminium industry: AMR, ALUNEXT, Agrisovgaz, Astek-MT, VMK-Invest, Tatprof, RUSAL, Realit, Velomotors, Alfa-Metal and others.
"We often do not have information about what the neighboring enterprise produces, and we may not even know about the existence of production facilities in other regions of the country. And in most cases, the nearest enterprises can cover the existing needs of related industries and replace import," the chairman of the Aluminum Association Valentin Trishchenko said. According to his words, the exchange of information between producers and consumers of aluminium will significantly increase the aluminium consumption in Russia. "The Aluminum Association did not accidentally choose Belaya Kalitva for our meeting. The region is one of the largest aluminium centers in Russia. A large number of manufacturers of aluminium semifinished products are concentrated here," he said. "Therefore, to participate in the meeting, we invited related industry associations, those of the LED industry, manufacturers of greenhouse complexes and the furniture industry." These industries are major consumers of aluminium products, so it is extremely important to establish direct contacts with manufacturers.
At the meeting, the opportunities of the largest productions of the region, such as the AMR, BK Alprof, Alunekst and Energoaluminii companies, were presented. Moreover, the meeting participants presented the main sectoral projects in such areas as aluminium in construction, rolling industry and consumer goods.
As a result of the presentations, a direct discussion of topical issues and needs, as well as the exchange of contacts between aluminium companies and furniture enterprises, LED industries and manufacturers of greenhouse complexes took place.
At the end of the working meeting, excursions to manufacturing facilities were organized, during which participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with the production cycle and samples of finished products.
