On September 22nd, Akron Holding Group of Companies (a member of the Aluminium Association) held a press tour to the Energotekhmash plant in the town of Zhigulevsk for the media, regional authorities and public representatives. The tour was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the facility’s entry into the holding. The press tour was held mainly to summarize the interim results of the plant's operation, discuss plans and tasks for its further development. The event was attended by: General Director of Energotekhmash Aleksey Ivanov, Head of Zhigulevsk Sergey Fedotov, Chairman of the Duma Zhigulevsk municipality Yuri Smelovsky and Deputy Marketing Director of Akron Holding Aleksey Semenov.

At the end of the press conference A. Ivanov described the existing challenges in the development of the plant. The problem of staff shortage is particularly acute. The company is in constant search for qualified specialists – from blue collars to administrative and managerial personnel. The company also cooperates with the municipal authorities of Zhigulevsk in the area of education and training of young specialists.
