Moskabelmet Group (a member of the Aluminium Association) has launched the first online assistant in the Russian cable industry, a telegram bot. The messenger, whose audience is 500 million people worldwide, now has @MkmRuBot.
By contacting the bot, any customer of the company can find out at what stage the production of its products is, what is the planned date of the order readiness, and also receive a detailed order report by e-mail.
It should be noted that the data are strictly confidential, and the bot will disclose them only to the owner of a unique identification number (UIN) or QR code of a specific order. The number and code are generated individually and are included in the invoice for payment. You can get information about your order by scanning the QR code or by entering the UIN manually.
The detailed information provided by @MkmRuBot allows finding out the percentage of readiness not only of the entire order, but also of any individual item therein. Without waiting for the complete shipment of the order, the customer can immediately pick up the products, the production of which has already been completed.
The functionality of the Moskabelmet's telegram bot is not final: it will be expanded in the future. For example, it is planned to increase the list of information disclosed, expand the ways of its transmission, enable to connect a chat with a sales manager.
