Moscow announced tenders for the purchase of 300 electrobuses for 32 billion roubles
A 15-year service contract will be signed with the tender winners.
Moscow, December 30. INTERFAX.RU — According to the documents published on the public procurement web-site, SUE Mosgortrans announced three electronic auctions for the supply of three hundred electrobuses and charge systems for them under a life cycle contract.
According to the documents, the initial maximum price of the contracts proposing the delivery of 100 electrobuses in 2018 and their further maintenance for 15 years is RUB 10,548.8 million, RUB 10,549.1 million and RUB 10,787 million.
Tender applications will be accepted until January 30, auctions will be held on February 8.
The press service of the Moscow Transport Department informed Interfax the the auction winners would be obliged to deliver 98 ultra fast charging stations and would financially liable for their flawless operation.
‘A 15-year service contract will be signed with the auction winners under which they will have to ensure full functionality of the rolling stock and charging stations and will be financially liable for this. This is the first stage of the project of development of this transport in Moscow’, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Maxim Liksutov said.
According to him, Moscow plans to buy 300 electrobuses each year.
‘The technical advisor of the Government of Moscow for this project will be the Central Research and Development Automobile and Engine Institute NAMI. Also, as instructed by the Mayor, the state programme of transport development was amended, starting from the year 2021, Moscow will buy only electrobuses, Liksutov noted.
A Moscow electrobus will be an environmentally friendly, highly mobile and safe type of municipal transport. The request for proposal provides for the purchase of low-floor buses for not less then 85 passengers. The vehicles will be fitted with modern equipment including climate control, CCTV and satellite navigation systems, USB hubs for charging mobile devices and access to Wi-Fi. Travelling in an electrobus will comfortable for passengers of all categories, including handicapped passengers.
The new transport will be charged at parks and at the final stations of municipal routes. The power reserve will be about 40 kilometers. A mandatory condition of the contract for delivery of electrobuses will be production rolling stock in the territory of Russia.
It is noted that large automakers such as GAZ and KAMAZ group of companies show interest to the auctions.
