Sespel Cheboksary Company CJSC and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Establishment Kazan National Research Technological University have signed an agreement on cooperation in research and technology, staff training and professional development.

The goals of the agreement are: to promote the effectiveness of innovation by conducting joint research and finding practical uses for research results; to promote the comprehensive professional development and continuous education of staff through joint scientific and educational activities.

Areas of cooperation

The main areas of cooperation on research and technology are:

• researching the properties of materials used in production and looking for alternative replacements, including on issues related to import substitution;
• studying the impact of aggressive liquids and materials on various types of surfaces and looking for ways to protect them.

In terms of education, the parties will be engaging in:

• the professional development and retraining of managers and technicians of Sespel CJSC;
• the training of researchers (Masters of Science and PhDs) on topics relevant to Sespel CJSC in the fields that Kazan National Research Technological University specialises in;
• organising internships for students and instructors of the Kazan National Research Technological University at Sespel CJSC;li>
• organising lectures and classes by lead technicians of Sespel CJSC at the Kazan National Research Technological University.

In order to implement the agreement, a joint Research Programme as well as Professional Development and Training Programme will be developed.
