LLC PO Energokomplet took part and won in the 5th Republican Contest for Energy Efficiency Excellence Award 'Energy Efficiency Leader of Belarus 2019'. The company was named the winner in the contest for the product it presented: 6-35 KV cables made from ethylene propylene rubber and feature an easily detachable semi-conducting layer. The product was presented in the Most Energy-Efficient Product of the Year nomination, in the category: materials and products for power grids.

The award ceremony was held at the National Art Museum. For the first time in addition to the Diploma confirming the win, the companies were also presented with memorabilia designed to commemorate the anniversary.

The main goal of the contest is to popularise the introduction of cutting-edge energy-efficient products, technologies and solutions in various sectors of the economy to boost the energy efficiency of the country's GDP as well as to promote efficient-energy consumption models that utilise renewable energy. This year's event is fifth so thus it is an anniversary and over 100 companies took part in it. The anniversary contest had 5 nominations in which 19 companies won after having submitted 24 applications. Some 40 companies had taken part in the selection. The assessment system included criteria that not only dealt with energy conservation but also much broader indicators of how all kinds of resources are being used (materials, finances etc.).
