PJSC Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard in Nizhny Novgorod held a launch ceremony for a new PV300 four-deck cruise ship christened Mustai Karim.

100% of the glazing and railings on the PV300 Mustai Karim four-deck cruise liner was supplied by LPZ Segal, in addition the company also supplied the aluminium extrusions for the elevator used on the ship.

A floating five-star hotel, the ship is designed to carry 329 passengers in comfortable passenger rooms with floor areas of between 17 and 46 square metres. All the cabins feature the so-called French balconies (or loggias).

The main deck restaurant has 329 seats and can accommodate all the passengers at the same time, including children. Recreational facilities include observation rooms, a music room and a reading hall for 200 and 50 people, a transformable conference hall for 140 people, three bars, a children playroom, a fitness centre etc. The line has all the amenities to ensure that people with disabilities can travel in comfort as well.

LPZ Segal continues to participate in Russian civilians ship building projects at Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard and SZ Lotos. This year the company also began sales to SKK Zvezda.
