On April 24, 2019, Crocus Expo hosted a round table with representatives of Turkish business, the Embassy of Turkey to the Russian Federation and governmental authorities of the Russian Federation where prospects for the development of Russian-Turkish trade relations were discussed. The event was attended by Araz Agalarov, President of Crocus Group, Serkan Yıldız, representative of the Turkish Embassy to the Russian Federation, leaders of the Federal Customs Service, Rosselkhoznadzor and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
Certification Group holding of permits delivered its speech on 'Specific Features of Certification and Quality Control for Goods Imported into the Eurasian Economic Union'. The speech covered the situation in the market of certification services and clarified that it would be required to apply only to large and reliable organisations (issuing permits) to mitigate risks of manufacturers and importers relating to specific features of importation into the Russian Federation making sure that they would have a material and technical base, competent personnel and signs of real activities.
