Arconic SMZ (a member of the Aluminium Association) was included in the annual Leaders of Corporate Charity rating. The production facility was included in the TOP-3 companies in the Developing Practice category. The Leaders of Corporate Charity contest is one of the largest events in the field of corporate charity and social investment in Russia, which is held by the Donor Forum Association of Grant-Giving Organisations with the support of the Federation Council.

As a production company, Arconic considers it a priority for its charitable programmes in the region to support technical education for creating a talent pool for Industry 4.0. From robotics and physics classes in schools and career guidance for high school students to scholarship support for engineering students and young teachers, not forgetting work with orphanage graduates, the Arconic Foundation's initiatives are based on an integrated approach to the training of engineering personnel. "Such a 360º approach to various aspects of engineering education creates synergy between the charitable programmes of Arconic SMZ and trains the engineering personnel necessary for production facilities of Samara," continued Maxim Smirnov.

Arconic SMZ is a regular participant in the rating of this Donor Forum's project aimed at supporting, developing and promoting the ideas of corporate charity and social investment of companies.
