The Zaryadye Park is called a park of the XXI century. The principle of natural urbanism proposed by the project authors allows for organic integration of the new public space into the historical fabric of the city, connecting traditional and new pedestrian routes, and opening significant urban-planning panoramas. The new park will connect landmarks of the historical centre of Moscow - the Kremlin, Red Square and Chinatown - with embankments, Zamoskvorechye, and parks of the southwestern green cluster on the right bank of the Moscow River - Museon, the Gorky Park, and Vorobyovy Gory.
The Metal Structures Plant of LLC AGRISOVGAZ produced elements of metal structures for the cupola of the so-called Glass Crust. 'The hill under which the Philharmonia is located is covered with the Glass Crust, a large-span structure for which we have manufactured watershed and snow capture elements coating the metal structures with hot galvanising and powder painting,' says Sergey Sukhanov, Head of the Metal Structures Shop. 'We had no problem with the production, we did everything fast, with proper quality and supplied in due time. Participation in projects of such level is not only very responsible, but I would say also prestigious.
The key merit of the park is the fact that the entire territory, shabby and closed before, was returned to the city. Zaryadye Park was opened on September 9 during celebrating the 870 anniversary of Moscow. The landscape park near the Kremlin on the place of dismantled Russia Hotel was visited by over one million people in the first month.
