The VII Facades of Russia 2022 Congress will take place on September 13–15 in Moscow with the support of the Aluminium Association. At the event, the Association will present modern aluminium-based facade materials, and share experiences in their application and production techniques. The forum will be hosted by the Golden Ring Hotel congress centre.
The event will convene executives and senior technicians from over three hundred facade and construction companies from across the country. Over the three days, more than fifty leading speakers — scientists, industry experts and heads of leading companies — will give presentations to participants and guests.
On the first day of the Facade of Russia Congress, Olga Ogorodnikova, Head of the Construction Sector, will be a speaker in the thematic section 'Analysis of the Construction Market. General Issues'. The expert will inform the audience of the current situation in the national construction market due to country closures and blocked supplies of imported, especially European, facade materials. The discussion will focus on the dynamics of demand due to the impact of sanctions, the main challenges of the phase-out of imports, ways of solving the problems faced by producers and processors, including logistics, as well as possible points of growth in the construction market.
In her presentation 'Modern Facades — Lightness and Durability as a Priority', Olga Ogorodnikova will go into detail about the use of aluminium in architecture and construction, with examples of projects that have already been completed and facilities under construction. Special attention will be given to new finishing technologies and modern aluminium-based facade constructions.
Representatives of companies from the Aluminium Association, which produce high-tech aluminium products for the construction industry, will also deliver speeches at the VII Facades of Russia Congress.
The Facades of Russia Congress has been held since 2014. It is hosted by the Facade Academy. The Congress aims to provide professionals with a set of practical, analytical, regulatory and technical information for successful work in 2022–2023. As is customary, courses on facade design in accordance with the current regulations will be held alongside the Congress. The course instructors are leading experts in the facade market.
