The world's leading designers appreciate aluminium because it is one of only a handful of materials that enable them to create unique images and objects, as well as for its ease of processing and good looks. Aluminium offers some remarkable properties that explain its wide application. Aluminium is the material that gives modern cities their streamlined appearance, helping modern high rises strive ever upwards, while looking great and remaining functional and environmentally friendly. Unfortunately, in Russia aluminium solutions in architecture, construction and design are not as common as they are in the rest of the world. To a large extent, this is due to the fact that many industry experts are simply unaware of the broad possibilities of using the metal.
On March 12, 2020, the Aluminium Association, the Union of Architects of Russia, the Union of Moscow Architects, the Institute of Lightweight Materials and Technologies are inviting all interested parties to take part in an applied science seminar to learn more about the properties of aluminium alloys, aluminium alloy production, processing technologies, and combination methods. The seminar will feature practical examples of how innovative technologies and approaches to modelling can be used, as well as presentations of software products for developing spatial structures.
Invitations are being extended to: architects, designers, instructors and students of relevant universities (such as the Moscow Institute of Architecture, Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Design and Applied Arts, Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, Moscow State University of Design and Technology, British Higher School of Art and Design, the Design Department of Bauman Moscow State Technical University) and others.
Participation is FREE of charge.
