2017 was quite successful for the aluminium industry: preliminary statistical data evidences aluminium output growth, an increase in domestic production for the first time since long ago. Other positive trends include lower exports of primary aluminium from Russia and considerable growth in the exports of semi-finished aluminium products other than raw materials. Naturally, this would not have been possible without joint efforts and a contribution of each company in these indicators.
What does the industry's tomorrow depend on? Which development path will it follow? How will the aluminium industry and your business evolve? We will attempt to find answers to all of these questions at the annual meeting of Association Union of Producers, Suppliers and Consumers of Aluminium scheduled for March 15, 2018; meeting venue: conference hall of the Russian Union on Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, second floor.
We will get together in an informal setting, in the format of vivid dialogue; taking into account everyone's interests, to discuss in detail the most acute issues of interest to every one of us, look at the work of our Association through the lens of industry achievements, and outline our common goals and plans. It is very important for us to get together and join our effort to detect global growth areas and incorporate them into the association's development strategy that will guide us in the medium term.
